Pennsylvania’s iGaming market

In 2026, current iGaming revenue is surpassing land-based revenues and becoming the primary source of gaming revenue for the state. By December 2025, the monthly iGaming revenue set a record in the state, and the sector generated almost $3 billion in tax revenue.

Online slots are the undisputed market leader, with high-volatility content and branded content as the top draws.

Live dealer games now account for more than 60% of all iTable revenue. Online poker is the smallest online vertical, but entry into the Multi-State Internet Gaming Agreement last year benefited the segment due to the sharing of player pools with other states.

The year 2025 was a great year for sports wagering, and mobile wagering accounted for more than 95% of the total revenue of $602.5 million.

Tax rates in Pennsylvania are higher than in neighboring states such as New Jersey but the player base volume helps to sustain profitability.

The iGaming market in Pennsylvania is mature and highly competitive with an increasing focus on changing how operators can retain their customers and develop their brands.
